Tiger Aviation chief executive Tony Davis feels time is on his side as he seeks to establish the group as a low-cost Asian Powerhouse.
As Asia enters distinctly choppylooking economic waters, the man at the helm at Tiger Aviation feels that his low-cost airline group is better placed than most to steer clear of any trouble. “I think we’ve always taken a very measured view,” explains chief executive Tony Davis. “While some have criticised us for not growing faster – by taken a measured approach to growth we’ve developed a business that is both sustainable and profitable. When you build that business in a measured way it means when you do hit rougher times you’re not as exposed as some of our competitors who have grown more quickly than we have.”
